What if we could stop child slavery before it starts?

How We’re Making Freedom Sustainable.

Set Free is entirely dependent on the generosity of donors, churches, and businesses to fund our work overseas, and our incredible partners are on the front lines living out their callings and counting on us to provide their funds. With consistent, reliable gifts coming in through the Cornerstone members, our partners are able to know their regular work will be taken care of and allow them to dream about what else God wants to accomplish through them.

150k Indian Children Enslaved Each Year

Our Solution

01 Children Forced to Work as Payment

Exploiting the poverty and desperation of parents, lenders offer loans with terms that allow them to take children as payment. When families cannot repay their loans, agents remove the children and force them to work in mines or brothels.

We’re Stopping the Cycle

$68 Average Loan Amount

Our Solution

02 Set Free Pays the Lender

To stop this cycle of slavery, Set Free intervenes by repaying loans directly to the lenders, receiving the paid-in-full paperwork, and eliminating the opportunity for the lender to claim children as payment.

Working with the Family

98% Of Loans Repaid In Full

Our Solution

03 Family Repays Set Free

After Set Free pays the lender, the families repay us at terms they can afford, either in cash or the equivalent of rice or firewood, which we use to care for children we’ve rescued who, for various reasons, have been unable to reunite with their families.

Reinvesting in Others

Our Solution

04 Set Free Reinvests for the Future

When families repay Set Free in cash, we put those payments back into our program to pay off loans for other families, creating a sustainable model of freedom and prevention that secures a brighter future for the families we serve.

Help Us Prevent Child Slavery One District at a Time

$800K

$600,000 to reach our goal to fund our first district.

Each dollar and every donation helps provide the resources to save innocent children in India from the bonds of modern slavery. With your generosity, we can prevent child slavery one district at a time. Help us reach our goal, and help these children know that they are freed through the love of Christ.
